Projects / Juxon House

SG initially provided design support to Sir William Whitfield’s concept for Paternoster Square as being the focus of the streets and public spaces in relation to the context and setting of St Paul’s Cathedral. From the approved planning stage and throughout the design development of the scheme to tender and construction stages, SG executive Architect role included a complete re-evaluation of the internal organization and rationale of the core planning and the strategy for the distribution of services and internal infrastructure.

Subsequent to initial liaison and collaboration with Sir William Whitfield, the concept was evolved and developed by SG, through coordination with the consultant design team to ensure that the internal organization within the building envelopes were efficient and fully integrated in accordance with the cost plan and programme. The contract and timescale for construction of Juxon House was as a stand-alone project, separate to the second phase comprising Nos 3 – 4 Paternoster Square. On all building programmes however, SG were the Executive Architects responsible for detail design, production information, and site inspections.
